This is a combo tour. The Dolphin Encounter offers an up close and personal opportunity for guests of all ages to meet these incredible mammals in the safety and comfort of waist deep water. Although not a swim program, guests will have an opportunity to stroke, hug and even dance a quick meringue with our people-loving dolphins while posing for some once-in-a-lifetime photos!

The Shark Encounter allows you to touch their velvety bodies and feel the gentle suction of their mouths as they snuggle into your hand, looking for a bit of fish. You're perfectly safe to swim and enjoy the sensation of their graceful bodies moving around you.

Of all marine creatures, none is more fearsome or more fascinating than the shark! They are the stuff that legends, horror stories and movie nightmares are made of but this is the only marine encounter park in the world to offer guests the chance to hold, touch and explore the deep sea secrets of the nurse shark.

There are multiple times for this program. We decide the times according to the pick up time of each client at their hotel. Times on order calendar are for booking purposes only.

Summary:

Rate includes hotel pickup from nearby hotels. Minimum age to participate is 6 years old. Pregnant guests are not permitted in interactive programs. Prices are in US dollars. Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 888-217-2181. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Under the careful supervision of our trained and very entertaining staff members, participants will touch, hold, feed and ultimately swim with a small school of adult nurse sharks. These magnificent creatures, some as long as seven feet, will amaze you with their sandpapery skin, their fearsome teeth and their relaxed attitude towards human visitors!

This is truly the adventure of a lifetime and a rare opportunity to meet nature on its own breathtaking terms. You will move beyond your natural fears and enter a brave new world. You'll gain an understanding and an appreciation of this beautiful and awe-inspiring creature that few people will ever share.

~ If guests are found to be intoxicated or in violation of any of the restrictions listed, or do not follow instructions from our trainers (which may be detrimental to the safety of the animals or other persons in the session) we reserve the right to remove them from the session without providing a refund or rebook the session.
~ This tour offers hotel pick-up in the areas of Susua/Cabarete for an additional $5.00 per person round trip or from Bahia Principe/Luperon Hotels for $10.00 per person round trip. Guest pays any additional fees for the transfer upon arrival at Ocean World.
