Swim with the Dolphins in Puerto Plato in the Dominican Republic! The dolphin-swim experience begins with a brief orientation, after which guests enter the water to meet the dolphins! Participants learn to use dolphin trainers' hand signals and positive reinforcement techniques to communicate with their new friends, then actually swim and play with the dolphins. It is an amazing experience!

With the help of our highly trained staff, those lucky enough to take part in the Dolphin Swim slip into the warm Caribbean waters of our Dolphin Cove to meet these amazing sea creatures face to face and hand to fin. You will stroke their glistening, rubbery skins, watch them leap and dive and finish up your amazing encounter being carried through the water between two dolphins in a "dorsal fin tow."

This tour offers hotel pick-up. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult 18 & over. Minimum age to participate is 6. Pregnant guests are not permitted in interactive programs. Prices are in US dollars & all taxes are included. Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 888-217-2181. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

As dolphin caretakers, we have a unique ability to offer our guests not only fascinating educational introductions, but also the rare opportunity for intimate contact with the dolphins. Our hope is that every guest who meets & falls in love with a dolphin will leave our park committed to conserve & protect these very special creatures.

All participants in the Dolphin Swim must wear life jackets provided to float freely on the surface, thereby allowing the dolphins to come much closer. A maximum of ten participants & two dolphins usually take part in each session. The in-water time is about 30 minutes during which you will spend some very special moments with the dolphins...sharing a kiss, hugging, dancing, feeding, petting, & swimming. A human hurdle & a spectacular dorsal fin tow will finish off the experience & leave you with memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Note: In order to vary the programs for the animals, the trainers do not use the same behaviors in each session, but instead use a different combination each time.
